Taipei Medical University is presenting the TMU Elite Short-Term Exchange Program 2024, a fully funded opportunity for students to study in Taiwan. Over the course of this 5-month program, participants will have the chance to attend a prestigious medical institution, gaining exposure to the vibrant life of Taipei City. This program offers a unique learning environment alongside working professionals and international peers, enriching the overall experience. Students will benefit from the expertise of doctors and professors at Taipei Medical University through specialized healthcare courses, making it an exceptional opportunity for academic and professional growth.

Taipei Medical University offers a variety of courses in medical fields such as Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Anatomy, Nursing, Public Health, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Long Term Care, and Digital Health. The program also includes an off-campus component where students will visit a Pharmaceutical Factory, Medical Institutions, VIP Wards, a Laboratory, a Medical Simulation Education Centre, and a VR Experience space. Additionally, students will have the chance to learn the Chinese language, enriching their experience by acquiring a new language.

This fully funded short-term exchange program for international students covers the entire course fee, round-trip airfare, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of NTD 8,000. To keep participants engaged, various cultural activities are organized, including visits to Taipei 101 (the world’s tallest energy-efficient green building), The National Palace Museum, Jiu Fen Old Street, E-DA Theme Park, and Nantou, known for its tea plantations and beautiful lake. Eligibility

• Be a citizen of one of these countries which include Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Australia, or New Zealand.
• having a background in biological science, healthcare, laboratory work, data analysis, or any other field related to medicine.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or can be in sophomore, junior, senior year or above this.
• Have proof that they have a minimum amount of $1000.
• Have not received any financial help/scholarship from the Government or any other educational institutions of Taiwan previously.

• Complete the online Application Form.
• Updated CV.
• Statement of Purpose.
• Language Proficiency Test Result.
• Educational Transcripts (Both degrees and Diplomas).
• Valid Passport.
• Any other supporting documents are needed to visit Taiwan.
